Born and was raised from Brisbane Australia. Daughter of an English father. Clemens was working as an actress on Australian television when she was in high school. The actress starred as Juliet on one episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and also acted in the role of Alison as part of the Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's program in 2007. Clemens received the Graham Kennedy Award in 2008 at the Logie Awards, for playing Harper. Clemens was a part of Sigrid and Xavier along with Samuel Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane in the year 2008's MTV Networks Australia Dramatic Film Dream Life. In 2009 she was in small roles on All Saints as well as the film X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens was the face of Jan Logan's jewelry in that year.Clemens relocated from Australia to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens played in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young as Xandrie. Clemens co-starred with Gregg Sulkin in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Cary Elwes, Samantha Mathis and Cary Elwes. The film was a dramatic adaptation of Madeleine's novel which had the same title. Clemens was a character on Luke Evans' 2012 horror flick No One Lives. She also made an appearance on screen in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. The role she played was Catherine her sister Myrtle Wilson played by Isla Fisher. Clemens is the lead character Tawney Talbot in the 2013 Sundance Channel television miniseries Rectify created by Ray McKinnon.
