Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian artist and singer. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco's music is classified as folk, alternative and rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is recognized as an icon for feminist music. In 1990, she was among the first to establish her own record label. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo, New York.
