Lindsey Vonn was born in 1984, and has since in retirement. In 2010, she won 4 World Cup events, including the downhill medal. She is second to the top of the world in super scores for male and female skiers. She's one of the top skiers in the world and also is the most popular American skier. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She was the winner of four World Cups. She is one of the most well-known athletes throughout American the history of sports. She's among only six women to win all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She has won an impressive 82 World Cup victories in total. She is among the top skiers worldwide and also the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues caused this multiple World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. The four-time World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. My last race of my professional career is scheduled to be in Re Sweden next week, during the Downhill World Championships, as well as SG World Championships.
