Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in America. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to work in the field of art. She began working as a photo assistant then turned to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. She was named the best box office star in the world in just three films. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
